Bethesda held their Starfield Direct today after the Xbox Games Showcase.
The Direct was a deep dive of gameplay and mechanics that clocked in at 45 minutes. Check it out below.
Starfield is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC on September 6, 2023 and is of course available Day One with Xbox Game Pass.
Patriot’s Point: Game of the show, by far. As hyped as I am for Dragon’s Dogma 2, I’d say this Starfield Direct was better than anything shown during PlayStation’s Showcase a few weeks back as well. I wasn’t all that hyped on in it before, brushing it off as being too much like No Man’s Sky, but after seeing this Direct today, I’m fully on board the hype train. It looks amazing. If it ends up being anything short of awesome I’m going to be disappointed. That’s how high my expectations are for it now. Cannot wait for this.
And while I will be playing this on Xbox Series S as a Game Pass subscriber, I would’ve spent $70 (probably more for a deluxe edition) to play it on PS5 if it were available. Literally leaving money on the table by having it exclusive.
