Ubisoft has revealed gameplay and a release date for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
The Lost Crown takes the series back to its roots, of sorts, as a 2.5D Metroidvania action-adventure platformer.
The game is releasing on January 18, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna and PC via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store.

The Lost Crown sees players take on the role of a new hero named Sargon on a quest to find the lost Prince.
Patriot’s Point: This looks okay gameplay wise, but this ain’t Prince of Persia. Also terrible music choice for a supposed Prince of Persia game trailer. The Fortnite like character design certainly doesn’t help matters. Ubisoft Montpellier does good work, but they would’ve been better off making a a Rayman Legends sequel.
