Things continue to not go well for the Smackdown side of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
Last week on Smackdown it was revealed that Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons were unable to compete in the tournament. They were replaced by Toxic Attraction.
The NXT duo of Gigi Dolin and Jacey Jayne went on to defeat Natalya and Sonya Deville to earn a spot in the semifinals.
Today, WWE has announced that due to an injury sustained by Gigi Dolin, Toxic Attraction has to pull out of the tournament.
This week on Smackdown, a Second Chance Fatal Four-Way tag team match will happen. The winner will advance to face the team of Raquel and Aliyah.

Smith’s Sentiment: Tough break for WWE, NXT and Toxic Attraction. Hopefully the injury doesn’t sideline Gigi too long, but we don’t know anything about it right now.
