WWE today issued a press release formally announcing Stephanie McMahon as Chairwoman of WWE and co-CEO alongside Nick Khan.
Also included in the press release, was this note regarding Triple H:
Additionally, WWE executive Paul Levesque will assume all responsibilities related to WWE’s creative, in addition to his regular duties.
It was announced last Friday, before news of Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE, that Triple H was once again Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.
Now, in addition to his EVP of Talent Relations duties, Triple H will oversee the creative team for the company.
Smith’s Sentiment: HUGE news, and phenomenal news at that. I LOVED Triple H’s NXT, the black and gold. Don’t get me wrong, I also love the Shawn Michaels ran NXT 2.0, but Triple H’s NXT was consistently great for years. It’s also great to know that Hunter’s health is good enough that he can be in two stressful positions full time. I am genuinely excited to see how different things look by the end of the year. Hell, I’m excited for next week just to get past Summer Slam that was already booked.
