The game was first announced back in 2018, and was met with a negative response from upset Diablo fans.
Blizzard has today revealed that they’ve walked back one of the complaints people had about Immortal. It will be coming to PC after all.
Diablo Immortal will enter open beta on PC on June 2nd.
The game will feature both cross-play and cross-progression on day one of release. So you’ll be able to play on your PC, and continue on playing on your mobile device.
The MMOARPG will allow players to form Warbands with up to eight members to tackle raids, join clans of up to 150 folks, and will also feature a faction-based PvP system.
Diablo Immortal will have six classes to choose from; Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard.
Diablo Immortal has already seen over 30 million players pre-register across all platforms. The game will be free-to-play, and will feature optional in-game purchases.
Smith’s Sentiment: I like Diablo, but had little interest in this when it was announced as being mobile only. Bringing it to PC is a smart move, and I’ll definitely be checking it out. Why not? It’s free after all. Besides, it does look pretty good.
