Ghost of Tsushima Movie Gets Screenwriter

Ghost of Tsushima

The Ghost of Tsushima movie takes its next step in early development. The project has landed a screenplay writer in Takashi Doscher according to Deadline.

Doscher’s writing credits include Only, Still, and A Fighting Chance documentary for ESPN.

Ghost of Tsushima director Chad Stahelski and writer Takashi Doscher will be working closely with game developers Sucker Punch to make sure the film adaption is done right and in the spirit of the game.

Smith’s Sentiment: I don’t know any of this guys work, so I can’t comment on him. That said, Stahelski did a good job with the John Wick movies and he’s a fan of the game, so I do have high hopes for the Ghost of Tsushima movie. Obviously, with it just now getting a writer, it’ll be quite sometime before this sees the light of day.

  1. Exciting news! Spent countless of nights playing Ghost of Tsushima during my uni days at University of Prishtina(www.uni-pr.edu). I just hope that Takashi Doscher doesn’t mess this up.
